ARTMS was formed in 2023 after the members of the popular girl group Loona, active between 2016 and 2023, left their former agency. Five of the twelve girls signed with a company called Modhouse, where they launched their new group under the name ARTMS. The name itself, borrowed from the Greek goddess of the Moon, is a nod to the Loona era, but musically they also follow a very similar pop/dance-pop style and have even revived the former Loona sub-unit, Odd Eye Circle. ARTMS released their debut album, DALL, in 2024; in addition, they have released a few singles and two EPs to date, the most recent of which, Hyper-Ego, is very recent, having been released this August. ARTMS officially consists of five members, but one of the girls, Haseul, is taking a break this year, so the band will be performing for us with the four-piece line-up that recorded Hyper-Ego.
