Christopher Cross in Budapest for the First Time.

Over the course of his more than four-decade-long career, five time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Christopher Cross will perform in Budapest for the very first time! Known
for songs such as Sailing and Ride Like the Wind, Cross will bring his music to life on April 28 at Dürer Kert during his debut Budapest concert.

Tickets will first be available to registered Live Nation members starting September 30 at 10 a.m., while general ticket sales starts on October 3 at 10 a.m. at www.livenation.hu.

Originally formed around Benedek Szabó’s solo project, Galaxisok quickly grew into a full-fledged band, building an exceptionally diverse body of work that moves effortlessly between styles and moods.

Their eighth album, Ellenszélben (Headwind), released in March 2024, surprised even long-time fans with its sharper political and social lyrics and its noticeably more furious tone. The anti-establishment protest song Örökre elég volt ebből (“We’ve Had Enough Forever”) soon became a staple not only of their concerts but of street protests as well.

With their most direct, guitar-driven set in years, Galaxisok have been touring to remind us again and again that every system eventually collapses.

After closing 2025 with a piano-focused performance at Müpa Budapest in October, the band will return to Dürer on January 23, 2026 with a loud, hit-filled show - and a few surprises. 🧐🤫

Nostalgia for carefree summers spent with friends on the riverbank, dreamlike images and atmospheric synths come together in orbit's songs, which capture these moments in his upcoming debut album. The young German producer brings his dream world, woven from small-town atmosphere and nature, to Budapest on February 8 at Dürer Kert.

"When I close my eyes and let myself go, I'm there again. On one of those endless summer days, when the air shimmers and my friends call out to me from the riverbank." - This memory begins "Countless Feelings But So Few Words" (release: Nov 14) – the debut album by orbit.

After half a decade full of stories, experiences, and encounters, Marcel Heym, also known as orbit, announces his long-awaited first album for fall 2025 and will bring it to the stage in winter '25/26 on his “Small Town Friends on Europe Tour“. With the album, the nostalgic coming-of-age narrative that orbit began in 2020 with "Perspectives" finds an emotional conclusion.

"Countless Feelings But So Few Words" is a look back at a symbolically ending "long summer," a personal reflection on growing up, and a farewell to a certain feeling about life that has shaped the young musician's art until now.

orbit looks back on an era that has allowed him and his friends to draw ever-wider circles: from rural Northern Germany, across Europe, to the legendary Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert.

Five years have passed since the now 30-year-old producer Marcel launched the orbit project. In his early twenties, he moved to Berlin and began working there as a music producer. But the noise of big city life didn't bring him what he was looking for. He fled back to his hometown, back to the Weser river, into nature, into his circle of friends. Here he found his peace and artistic freedom. This is how a project came into being that was allowed to grow organically, without rushing.

And that's exactly how it sounds: with a soundscape of intimate acoustic sounds, dreamily distorted vocals, and atmospheric synths, orbit has found his way to express inner dream worlds and connect them with impressions from the small town.

Since the beginning of this journey, the collective idea has been an integral part of Marcels project – from organizing small shows to designing his own merchandise. orbit combines "mindfulness" and "adventure" and remains a passion project with DIY at its core, even with international success: with self-built stage designs, handmade merchandise, and self-produced music videos.

In winter 2025/26, orbit and his friends are going on the “Small Town Friends on Europe Tour” with his new album. With the band expanded to a trio and, as always, magical stage design - inspired by the idyllic countryside of his hometown - orbit invites you to immerse yourself in his dream worlds. As part of a co-headline tour, Stoned Jesus - one of the finest bands on the European psychedelic rock scene - will return to Budapest on March 26, 2026. 

As part of a co-headline tour, Stoned Jesus - one of the finest bands on the European psychedelic rock scene - will return to Budapest on March 26, 2026. The other main act of the Spring Equinox Tour will be Wheel, legends of the Finnish prog scene, who have also proven themselves in Budapest before.


Stoned Jesus was founded by Igor Sydorenko in Kyiv in 2009. The Ukrainian trio’s second full-length album, *Seven Thunders Roar*, combined elements of doom, prog, and grunge in their own unmistakable way. Its centerpiece, the 13-minute “I’m the Mountain,” has now amassed 15 million views on YouTube.


Their next album, *The Harvest*, was described by critics as sounding like MASTODON, PORCUPINE TREE, and SOUNDGARDEN meeting on one record, and their charismatic live performances doubled - then tripled - their fanbase within just a few months.
 

Throughout their career they have played nearly 500 shows, toured across Europe and South America (twice), and shared festival stages with artists such as THE PRODIGY, GHOST, UNKLE, LIAM GALLAGHER, SLAYER, KORN, RAMMSTEIN, THE OFFSPRING, GOJIRA, BRING ME THE HORIZON, DREAM THEATER, and the legendary BLACK SABBATH. The trio was handpicked by the veterans of DEEP PURPLE as their direct support act for the band’s 2018 Kyiv concert, attended by 10,000 rock and metal fans.


While remaining an integral part of the European psychedelic rock scene - a scene they themselves helped popularize - the trio has never stopped pushing creative boundaries. Their newer songs draw inspiration from a wide range of artists, including SWANS, THE CURE, KING CRIMSON, and the DEFTONES.

Since their formation in 2015, Wheel have grown rapidly from Helsinki’s local underdogs into an internationally recognized act. Its 2021 successor, *Resident Human*, received outstanding global reviews, praised for its sonic evolution and bold, dystopian themes.


Their latest record, 2024’s *Charismatic Leaders*, was created with exceptional meticulousness to meet the band’s ever-rising standards. “This is our heavy record,” says Lascelles. “For those who love metal and love Wheel, this is their album. We haven’t become caricatures of our previous releases, but we’ve definitely shifted toward a more metal direction, and we wanted to make a metal album.”


Wheel have toured globally with prog-metal icons such as Leprous, Vola, and Soen, and it is easy to imagine how the irresistible hook of “Disciple” or the explosive guitars of “Submission” will further elevate the excitement of their live shows.

Intimate Canadian Indie at Dürer Kert: Men I Trust Returns to Budapest.

With their fifth and sixth studio albums, Men I Trust are touring the world, and their Equus Tour will arrive in Budapest on June 26, 2026, where they will once again bring their intimate indie melodies to Hungarian audiences following their sold-out 2022 show.

Formed in 2014, the Canadian indie band has quietly but steadily carved out a deep place in the music scene, staying true to their own artistic path. With their dreamy sound blending elements of dream pop and indie, the trio — Emma Proulx (guitar, vocals), Jessy Caron (guitar, bass), and Dragos Chiriac (keyboards) — has found a global audience, with crowds around the world eagerly awaiting their concerts. Their first album began as a collaboration between Jessy and Dragos; Emma first appeared singing a few tracks on their 2015 album Headroom, and the result was so successful that the band became a trio in 2016. Since then, the three of them have shaped the group’s artistic direction together.
They captured even more attention with two subsequent studio albums and various live recordings, and their audience grew wider still thanks to their Tiny Desk Concert released in 2021 — recorded at home due to Covid. They visited Hungary in 2022, performing to a full house at Trafó, and now they return with two new albums. Equus Asinus and Equus Caballus, both released this year, build on the band’s familiar traditions, carrying a unique atmosphere through hypnotic melodies and captivating vocals that cannot be mistaken for anything else.

The impact of Men I Trust extends far beyond the success of their self-produced recordings. Their understated yet powerful live performances offer audiences a genuine and intimate musical experience. The trio stands out from the crowd, creating a sound that crosses genre boundaries and shapes the indie world with elegance and authenticity — whether in the studio or on stage.

Axel Rudi Pell and his band will return to Budapest in the spring of 2026. The German guitar hero has been releasing new albums with clockwork precision for more than three decades, and on April 3, they will present their latest album, Ghost Town, at Dürer Kert.

Axel Rudi Pell and his band are one of the most consistent representatives of classic heavy metal and melodic hard rock. The band has made a name for itself on the German scene with its neoclassical guitar riffs, epic, vocal-centered songs, and fantasy-themed lyrics. Their music is based on the traditions of the '70s and '80s, with mid-tempo, anthemic compositions and a distinctive Blackmore-inspired guitar sound.
 
For decades, the band's stable lineup has consisted of guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, singer Johnny Gioeli (also known from Hardline), keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak, and drummer Bobby Rondinelli. The gentlemen began recording in the fall, and although there is no official release date or title for the album yet, the spring release and tour schedule are already known, and the title of the release will likely be Ghost Town.

GREATEST HITS VOL. 1. 
Kiscsillag's most listened to album is their first album, released in 2006: no wonder, since it features hits such as Kockacukor, Hú de sötét and Állnak a férfiak, which have been staples at Kiscsillag's most important parties ever since. During the evening, they will play all the songs from the album, and of course they will add many more songs from their other albums!

The songs, which are always guitar-based but incorporate many different stylistic elements, the energetic performance, Lovasi's emblematic lyrics, and the polyphonic vocal themes that appeared in the band's final years have made Kiscsillag one of the most distinctive, unique-sounding, boldly experimental, and ever-evolving acts. In the current lineup, alongside the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál és a Borz), Dávid Szesztay, who has now risen to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist, plays, Imre Hajba plays bass guitar, and Ferenc Bajkai sits behind the drums.

Although their first concert in Budapest was not held until 2024, they have since played more than 60 concerts, including appearances at the Campus Festival, the Szeged Youth Days (SZIN), Petőfi Radio and TV, and in 2025 they opened the main stage at Gombaszög in Slovakia and played to a full house in the main hall of Dürer Kert before Duckshell. The band boldly combines styles, be it alternative, ska, metal, gypsy rock & roll, or even the world of Eastern music. This broad perspective gives their songs a unique atmosphere. They recorded their first album with producer Gábor Vastag at Sounday Studio and presented it at the Akvárium Klub at the end of 2024. Their performances are bursting with energy, making their own voices heard above the noise and carving out a place for themselves and their ideas in our increasingly crowded world.

Courtney Barnett was among the first to recognize her talent, while her distinctive musical world has drawn comparisons to artists such as David Byrne and Laurie Anderson.

Although Aldous Harding grew up as the child of musician parents, for a long time she did not intend to follow them into the profession. Yet her musical ambitions eventually caught up with her, taking shape in a remarkably sensitive and compelling singer-songwriter. On June 25, audiences in Budapest will finally have the chance to immerse themselves in her delicate songs as Aldous Harding performs her very first concert in Budapest, at Dürer Kert.

New Zealand-born singer-songwriter Hannah Harding, known by her stage name Aldous Harding, first came to wider attention with her 2015 self-titled debut album. The record earned critical acclaim for its gothic indie folk sound and raw emotional intensity, drawing comparisons to artists such as PJ Harvey and Kate Bush. Her subsequent albums – Party (2017), Designer (2019), and Warm Chris (2022) - marked a shift toward a more abstract, off-kilter indie pop direction, evoking names like David Byrne and Laurie Anderson. Harding grew up in the town of Lyttelton near Christchurch, New Zealand, to musician parents.

She was just 13 years old when she first appeared on a recording, singing on her mother Lorina Harding’s album Clean Break. Despite this early experience, she initially had no desire to pursue a career in music, believing it to be an uncertain path. A few years later, however, she gave up her ambitions of becoming a veterinarian after she began writing songs and singing with a close friend and fellow musician. Music, it turned out, was inescapable. By 2008, she was performing backing vocals for the traveling string band The Eastern, and her early breakthrough came when Courtney Barnett spotted her busking and immediately invited her to open for her show later that same evening.

In 2012, Harding changed her first name to Aldous and asked John Parish and Ben Edwards to co-produce what would become her debut album. The self-titled release received widespread critical praise, followed by extensive touring. For her second album, she signed with the British independent label 4AD and once again collaborated with John Parish (PJ Harvey, Tracy Chapman). Party was released in 2017 and was nominated for Album of the Year in New Zealand. After completing a 100-date tour, Harding returned to the studio with Parish to record her third album, Designer, released in 2019. This was followed by Warm Chris in 2022, featuring contributions from John Parish, Seb Rochford, Gavin Fitzjohn, Colin Killalea, Hopey Parish, and Jason Williamson (Sleaford Mods).

Although Aldous Harding’s gentle yet daring, story-driven songs have inspired many listeners worldwide, Hungarian audiences have never had the chance to see her live-until now. On June 25, she will perform in Budapest for the very first time at Dürer Kert.

More than half of our lives. It goes without saying that such a milestone anniversary is cause for celebration. Twenty years of uninterrupted togetherness in any community or relationship is a big deal. In 20 years, the world has changed so much, and we ourselves have changed so much, that we involuntarily ask ourselves where we have come from and where we are going, how this thing we called Esti Kornél has shaped us, and how, even after 20 years, we are still trying to do what we started doing as high school students. We don't want to entertain, we want to lighten our own souls by pouring everything we feel and think about the world into our songs without compromise. Our attitude towards music hasn't changed one bit. And it is very flattering and touching that this whole thing means something not only to us, but also to you who listen to our songs and come to our concerts. That in this infinitely impersonal, virtual world, we have shared, tangible, liberatingly real moments from time to time.

We want to do our 20th anniversary tour in our own style, without any unnecessary frills. Among our favorite clubs in Budapest, we will first celebrate at Dürer Kert on May 2, which has been significant in many ways in the band's history. It's customary to promise bombastic things at times like this. Those who know us know that every concert we play is the most important concert in the world for us on that particular night. So that's what we promise. And this is just the beginning of our anniversary year in Budapest. We look forward to seeing you there!
