Formed in 1986, the legendary Mexican death metal band Cenotaph - one of the pioneers of devastating Latin American metal - will flood Dürer Kert with their dark, raw and truly authentic old-school death metal. Following their EPs from the 1980s, they perfected their sound with four albums in the 1990s and early 2000s; whilst their music became increasingly intense, their lyrics delved into ever deeper themes and concepts. The band has been active again since 2023 with a new line-up, touring and playing festivals non-stop; whilst preparing their new album, they’re heading to Europe, where they won’t stop wreaking havoc until they reach the Killtown Deathfest.

Cryptworm (UK)
Founded in 2014 by Tibor Hanyi and Joe Knight, Cryptworm is undoubtedly one of the most active and most rotten acts on the international underground death metal scene of the past decade. Not to mention that the band, with its Hungarian roots, is also one of the most exciting and groundbreaking in the underground scene. Following their highly successful second album and an extensive tour, their third full-length album has been released via Me Saco Un Ojo Records and Extremely Rotten Productions; it’s more vicious and rotten than ever, pushing the boundaries of the genre even further in terms of extremity.

VÉR
The first Hungarian support act will be VÉR, who play Kripta-style death metal. Their relentless, old-school death metal grinds away like a living-dead machine as they march forward. The band are also signed to Me Saco Un Ojo Records; following the international festival season, they’re about to embark on a European album-launch tour, but until then, you’ll be able to hear plenty of new tracks from their forthcoming full-length album, which is currently in its final stages of production.

RETORSION
The second local support act, Retorsion - the Hungarian voice of Repulsion, those senseless, raging, corpse-devouring grindcore beasts - will also be making an appearance at the gig. Having recently toured America and Europe with their album, released by Headsplit Records amongst others, they show no signs of slowing down - quite the opposite, in fact. Guaranteed to leave you rotting alive amidst mountains of neck-breaking blast beats.
