After the carnivorous diseases and violent fires in Australia, Kim Dracula arrived to reflect the chaotic world around us with their turbulent and surprising art. In their song Make Me Famous, we can feast on a mixture of violence, chaos, and satire. The song is extreme and multifaceted, not only in its lyrics but also in its visuals. With this move, Kim Dracula has surpassed their previous musical works, as they combines a number of different musical styles in one song: metal, industrial, jazz, trap, and Latin music—and we are still talking about the same song—yet the experiment did not descend into chaos. Dracula's latest release, Drown, is a more melodic piece that carries the same eclectic power they famous for, this time combining styles such as post-hardcore, synthwave, industrial, EDM, and metal. Hailing from Sopron, PLASTICOCEAN formed in 2017 and is known for their blend of modern metal and metalcore.

As part of a co-headline tour, Stoned Jesus - one of the finest bands on the European psychedelic rock scene - will return to Budapest on March 26, 2026. The other main act of the Spring Equinox Tour will be Wheel, legends of the Finnish prog scene, who have also proven themselves in Budapest before.


Stoned Jesus was founded by Igor Sydorenko in Kyiv in 2009. The Ukrainian trio’s second full-length album, *Seven Thunders Roar*, combined elements of doom, prog, and grunge in their own unmistakable way. Its centerpiece, the 13-minute “I’m the Mountain,” has now amassed 15 million views on YouTube.


Their next album, *The Harvest*, was described by critics as sounding like MASTODON, PORCUPINE TREE, and SOUNDGARDEN meeting on one record, and their charismatic live performances doubled - then tripled - their fanbase within just a few months.
 

Throughout their career they have played nearly 500 shows, toured across Europe and South America (twice), and shared festival stages with artists such as THE PRODIGY, GHOST, UNKLE, LIAM GALLAGHER, SLAYER, KORN, RAMMSTEIN, THE OFFSPRING, GOJIRA, BRING ME THE HORIZON, DREAM THEATER, and the legendary BLACK SABBATH. The trio was handpicked by the veterans of DEEP PURPLE as their direct support act for the band’s 2018 Kyiv concert, attended by 10,000 rock and metal fans.


While remaining an integral part of the European psychedelic rock scene - a scene they themselves helped popularize - the trio has never stopped pushing creative boundaries. Their newer songs draw inspiration from a wide range of artists, including SWANS, THE CURE, KING CRIMSON, and the DEFTONES.

Almost exactly four years later, everyone’s favorite southern rockers from Kentucky, Black Stone Cherry, return to Budapest.

Their career rises triumphantly from the challenges of recent years with the monumental album Screamin’ At The Sky (Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group), which they will finally present live on a Hungarian stage at Dürer Kert.

The four-piece rock band’s eighth studio album bursts in with surprisingly emotional pop-rock choruses, heartfelt lyrics, and of course, riffs that make you want to headbang. The 12-track release is also BSC’s biggest-sounding and most expansive album to date. Produced by the band themselves, the LP was recorded in a classic Kentucky theater and sounds as monumental as if “the hammer of the gods” were swinging above our heads. “The main theme of the record is adaptation and moving forward. In recent years, a lot of what I knew from my childhood has disappeared. I lost my father, and now I’m the oldest male in the family,” says vocalist-guitarist Chris Robertson. He adds: “There is a lot of darkness on this album — I completely opened up — but there’s always the promise of light at the end of the tunnel.” Guitarist-vocalist Ben Wells adds: “There’s something beautiful about letting the pain out — you come out of it a better person.”

Axel Rudi Pell and his band will return to Budapest in the spring of 2026. The German guitar hero has been releasing new albums with clockwork precision for more than three decades, and on April 3, they will present their latest album, Ghost Town, at Dürer Kert.

Axel Rudi Pell and his band are one of the most consistent representatives of classic heavy metal and melodic hard rock. The band has made a name for itself on the German scene with its neoclassical guitar riffs, epic, vocal-centered songs, and fantasy-themed lyrics. Their music is based on the traditions of the '70s and '80s, with mid-tempo, anthemic compositions and a distinctive Blackmore-inspired guitar sound.
 
For decades, the band's stable lineup has consisted of guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, singer Johnny Gioeli (also known from Hardline), keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak, and drummer Bobby Rondinelli. The gentlemen began recording in the fall, and although there is no official release date or title for the album yet, the spring release and tour schedule are already known, and the title of the release will likely be Ghost Town.

Here's a little lesson in Hungarian grindcore history! The band was formed in 1997 from the ashes of Dissective Fingers and Insistence under the name Neurocide, then continued as DIN-ADDICT from 1998, but fell into a coma in 2006. After an 18-year hiatus, they returned in 2023 and have been destroying the stages of Hungarian clubs ever since. Expect a fast old-school grindcore attack that few will survive!

CRYPTIC REMAINS combines the raw brutality of old-school death metal with technical elements. The band was formed in 2008, but became inactive around 2012. Their comeback show with a completely new lineup was at Insane Hellride Fest 2023, followed by numerous domestic and international club and festival appearances. Their debut album has just been put to the finishing touches with the help of Hannes Grossmann (Alkaloid, Triptykon, ex-Necrophagist), and the guys are now on the hunt for a label.

PANDORA'S CURSE is a young, modern blackened deathcore band from Budapest that works with symphonic and film music influences. A powerful combo, right? Dark, energetic, yet atmospheric songs that really suck you in when played live! They have released one EP so far, but are already working on their debut album, which is expected to be released in 2026. 

Fresh meat in the grinder - VAGINAL REFLUX! Formed in 2024, this gore brigade's music is based on tupa-tupa rhythms, which are dirtied up with more bubbling, headbanging parts and occasional slam interludes. Their lyrics draw from the absurd and obscene: medical horrors, sexual perversions, and bizarre situations are presented with black humor and irony. Their goal is to shake up the already narrow Hungarian goregrind scene.

Polish band Owls Woods Graves perfectly fuses pure punk with black metal. Their live performance delivers an especially brutal and instinctive experience. Their lineup is strengthened by members of MGLA, guaranteeing a high level of quality! Antichristian Hooligans!

MORBID
Swedish Morbid’s 1987 December Moon demo remains a cornerstone of early Scandinavian extreme metal. Legends such as LG Petrov and Per Yngve “Dead” Ohlin - the central figure of Morbid’s identity - were part of it. Dead’s performance style and relentlessly dark vision introduced a completely new emotional dimension to extreme metal: restrained, ominous, introspective, not merely aggressive. The musical, aesthetic, and emotional space Morbid defined later became a reference point for the next waves of black and death metal, and its influence has only grown over decades.
The current lineup features all four original members - Napoleon Pukes, Gehenna, TG, and Dr. Schitz - joined by Dead’s brother Daniel “Necrobird” Ohlin on vocals and Erik “Rötan” Danielsson, known from as frontman of Watain, on drums.

TORMENTOR
On March 13, Tormentor returns to Budapest after more than two years as part of the 666 Festival - under the name that evokes the legendary underground events of the ’90s. Today, it carries the same dark, uncompromising spirit that it has always embodied.
Tormentor is the most influential Hungarian extreme metal band, an iconic black metal legend of the ’80s, whose significance extends far beyond Hungary’s borders. Csihar Attila’s unique vocals were a major inspiration for the early Scandinavian scene - including Per Yngve “Dead” Ohlin, who openly admired Tormentor and Attila’s vocal approach. This artistic connection became one of the defining threads in black metal history and culminated in Mayhem’s De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas album. This sets the stage for the first joint concert of the two bands!

Doom-laden segments alternate with majestic riffs, creating a stormy mix of aggression and introspection. Their live shows transcend mere listening experiences, becoming ritualistic soundscapes that evoke the power of ancient Hungarian spirits.

Vadon delivers beer-bred Black & Roll chaos infused with untamed natural energy! The band will perform all tracks from both of their EPs for the first time, including the never-before-played Black Tides. Last year’s We’ll Bring The Chaos completes the story of the Universe album, depicting the world’s creation, destruction, and the events in between, inspired by Norse mythology.

KAZAL, a four-piece experimental post-black metal band from Budapest with strong hardcore punk roots, crafts music that traces an individual’s inner growth and labyrinthine journey. Each song represents a phase of this process in epic form.

Gyilkos is a no-compromise, self-willed band. While their sound is coherent, their style leaves no room for concessions. Pure sludge energy, amplified to the max, hits like a storm.
