After leaving an unforgettable mark on the Hungarian audience at Slipknot’s arena show, King 810 are coming back to shake Budapest once again. On July 5, the band will play their first-ever headline show in Hungary at Dürer Kert.
Formed in 2007 in the crime- and poverty-stricken American city of Flint, King 810 proudly stands apart from the modern metal mainstream. Their sound fuses crushing nu metal riffs with alternative rock, experimental hip-hop, electronics, and dark jazz elements.
The band broke into the public eye in 2012 with the Midwest Monsters EP, which earned them a deal with Roadrunner Records. Later that year, they released their critically acclaimed full-length debut, Memoirs Of A Murderer.
In 2015, they ventured into new territory with the Midwest Monsters 2 mixtape. Created in collaboration with DJ Drama, the release featured major figures from the hip-hop world — including Freddie Gibbs — offering a completely new take on the fusion of rap and metal. The following year, King 810 released the bold La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God. Frontman David Gunn’s extraordinary, raw poetry and prose took acoustic form on the Queen EP. Soon after, the band parted ways with major labels and, choosing independence, released the esoteric Suicide King album in 2018.
In recent years, Flint’s finest have appeared worldwide with increasingly artistic and theatrical performances following the apocalyptic 2020 release AK Concerto No.47, 11th Movement In G Major. Since then, they have added two more albums to their catalog, bringing their total to six studio records. In 2025, they released Rustbelt Numetal, followed later that year by nine additional tracks under the title K7 Rustbelt Numetal 2.
Their albums have earned international recognition, while their live shows continue to attract growing attention and an expanding fan base. As an endlessly creative band, King 810 continues to venture where others dare not go — their weapon of uniqueness is nothing less than brutally honest truth.
