As if we didn’t have enough reasons to celebrate, this year we’re also partying with you to mark the 10th anniversary of our first album. That’s why we’re revisiting and musically reimagining these 17 legendary tracks with the original artists and releasing the original on vinyl! We’ll be playing new tracks too, of course, so you can expect a marathon Mörk concert and a massive nostalgia party, where Sandwich, the ancient alien, the funk, and the revolutionary, all-sweeping wave will all make a comeback!

MÖRK plays music rooted in soul and funk, offering listeners a unique musical experience through thought-provoking lyrics on social, psychological, and everyday themes, combined with improvisation and elements of other styles. The band’s album Still Dreamin’, released last year, was put out by the British label Albert’s Favourites. The sold-out album release concert on the A38 Ship also marked the end of MÖRK’s active career—the band subsequently went on hiatus and, with the exception of one or two special events each year, no longer performs live. One such occasion will take place on November 14 in the main hall of Dürer Kert, where they will once again perform songs from the album You Are Free To Choose, which turns 10 this year, and have many other surprises in store.
