The GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen and his band Mammoth are coming to Hungary in 2026: they will perform live in Budapest on December 8 at Dürer Kert.

Fronting Mammoth, Wolfgang Van Halen has delivered one of the most exciting hard rock success stories of recent years. His music has a distinct identity, built on impressive instrumental prowess (drums, bass, keyboards, guitar) and instantly catchy melodies. In less than five years, Mammoth have amassed over 100 million streams, played sold-out shows around the world, and consistently appeared at the top of the most important charts.
Released in 2021, the debut album Mammoth WVH opened at No. 12 on the Billboard 200, while also topping three Billboard charts: Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. The track “Distance” became a No. 1 rock radio hit and earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Song. The 2023 follow-up, Mammoth II, continued the band’s rapidly rising career, reaching the Top 5 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart and once again claiming the No. 1 spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums ranking.

The band has toured with artists such as Metallica, Foo Fighters, Pantera, and Creed. Wolfgang has also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performed “Ken” with Ryan Gosling at the 2024 Academy Awards, and played at Ozzy Osbourne’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Hungarian audiences last experienced Mammoth’s explosive live energy in 2022, when the band visited as special guests of Alter Bridge.

Mammoth’s latest album, The End, marks a new era in the band’s career. Rather than being created on a computer, the record was captured live, with t Van Halen literally running back and forth between instruments while recording the songs. Its instinctive sound and incredible energy reflect a creative rebirth, further defining Mammoth’s character with tracks such as the title song “The End,” the groove-driven “The Spell,” the stadium-ready anthem “Same Old Song,” and the particularly heavy “Selfish.” The release is also a milestone: Wolfgang Van Halen is now carrying the project forward simply under the name Mammoth, which he himself describes as a rebirth.

The Budapest concert promises to be a special occasion, showcasing live the elemental power and musical versatility that have earned Mammoth worldwide acclaim from both industry professionals and fans. On December 8, 2026, everyone should head to Dürer Kert, as this show’s display of musical virtuosity is not to be missed. ELLiS·D, the solo project of Ellis Dickson, is coming to Hungary for the very first time on September 23 for a genre-blending, explosive live show at Dürer Kert.

Originally stepping into the spotlight as a drummer-turned-frontman, Ellis Dickson has steadily built momentum around ELLiS·D over the past year. Thanks to relentless touring and electrifying live performances, the project has quickly become one of the most exciting emerging acts around — with Far Out Magazine recently describing the show as “one of the most thrilling live experiences of recent months.”

Performing alongside a constantly evolving collective of Brighton-based musicians, Dickson — while also drumming internationally for Fat Dog and Johnny Borrell’s Jealous Nostril project — has toured with acts such as Razorlight and shared stages with The Goa Express, Flip Top Head, Melts, Plantoid, Vinyl Williams, Youth Sector and The DSM IV, among others.
The 2023 EP Hullo, Reality and the singles that followed, released via Brighton’s Crafting Room Recordings, earned Dickson significant radio play and press attention. His music has regularly appeared on BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X, while major UK music outlets including NME and So Young Magazine have also championed the project.

Over the past two years, ELLiS·D has been longlisted for both the Green Man Rising and Glastonbury Emerging Talent competitions, while this year’s biggest festival appearance came at Kendal Calling on Tim Burgess’s curated stage. The act has also made strong impressions at events such as Soundcity, The Great Escape and Live at Leeds, as well as at European festivals including Best Kept Secret and Haldern Pop.

Musically, ELLiS·D blends glam punk, psychedelia and gothic atmospheres into a distinctive sonic world: live shows packed with breakneck riffs, unexpected turns and cathartic returns. The second EP, Spill — written and performed entirely by Dickson with producer Shuta Shinoda — further amplifies this intense and immersive sound. The closing track, Drifting, is a dark, glam-punk-fuelled journey steeped in 21st-century paranoia.

BPBW Budapest Beer Week 2027 is from the 17th of May until the 23rd. From Monday to Thursday, the city is getting filled with beer-related and professional events (tap takeovers, meet the brewer events, expo day, opening party), with the main, unlimited TASTING SESSIONS (with after parties) on the 21st and 22nd of May at Dürer Kert and the ENCORE day on the 23rd of May on the very same spot!

Business as usual: the brewers are pouring their beers themselves between 2pm and 8pm each day, during and after the tasting sessions we are offering once again free live concerts, we'll be presenting you expanding street food options and of course the venue is family- and dog friendly.

We plan to host around 45 breweries once again from all over the world in 2027, with 4 beers on tap every day for unlimited tasting between 14h and 20h, which means that during the two tasting session days you will have the opportunity to taste cca 360 different beers! On Sunday, during the encore day, entry is free and the bands are starting earlier that day, while we'll be offering a smaller selection without the presence of most of the brewers, but it's still one helluva party.

MÖRK plays music rooted in soul and funk, offering listeners a unique musical experience through thought-provoking lyrics on social, psychological, and everyday themes, combined with improvisation and elements of other styles. The band’s album Still Dreamin’, released last year, was put out by the British label Albert’s Favourites. The sold-out album release concert on the A38 Ship also marked the end of MÖRK’s active career—the band subsequently went on hiatus and, with the exception of one or two special events each year, no longer performs live. One such occasion will take place on November 14 in the main hall of Dürer Kert, where they will once again perform songs from the album *You Are Free To Choose*, which turns 10 this year, and have many other surprises in store.

The concert is supported by the Performing Arts College of the National Cultural Fund (NKA).

Following his U.S. concert dates, Wednesday 13 - one of the most recognizable figures in horror rock - will be making an appearance in Europe this year with his tour titled “Cursed Blessings.” The musician, known by the nickname “The Duke of Spook,” will perform on December 5 in Budapest at Dürer Kert, accompanied by two special guests: Canadian dark synth-rock band The Birthday Massacre will co-headline, and Spanish industrial metal band Killus will open for them.
Wednesday 13’s career spans more than three decades, straddling the boundaries of horror punk, glam metal, and modern horror rock. He rose to fame as the frontman of Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 and Murderdolls, then embarked on a successful solo career, during which he blended horror-movie atmospheres with increasingly heavy metal and industrial influences. His spectacular concerts, featuring costume changes, video projections, and stage effects, evoke the world of classic horror films.
The other headliner of the evening, The Birthday Massacre, has been building its unique, dark-themed world for 25 years now, blending elements of synthwave, new wave, dark wave, and industrial. Thanks to the band’s atmospheric concerts and special connection with the audience, it has become one of the most influential names in the dark alternative scene. Ticket sales begin on June 5.

To mark this special occasion, the band will play the album from start to finish, complemented by numerous popular and rarely heard hits from Kapuzárási Piknik and Legszebb éveink.

In the endless summer of 2016, Galaxisok began recording their third album, whilst life went on around them and the neon-lit nights faded into the distance. Following Benedek Szabó’s quasi-solo albums, this was the band’s first true, collaborative album, which they rehearsed in the Dürer rehearsal rooms - a place that has since become the stuff of legend - before recording the album in various rented flats with the help of sound engineer Dodi Lázár. Since its release in 2017, it has remained a true audience favourite and will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year. To mark this special occasion, the band will play the album from start to finish, complemented by numerous popular and rarely heard hits from _Kapuzárási Piknik_ and _Legszebb éveink_. Zuhanó Hónapok are a band from Budapest who dream of midwest emo but play more of an alter-emo style. The members are all linked by Eötvös József Grammar School, where they first met, but the band couldn’t form until after they’d finished school. Their music is characterised by the unconventional use of odd time signatures, the sudden insertion of blast beats in the most laid-back passages, the grotesque harmony of screaming and clean vocals, bass riffs, melancholy - that sort of thing.

Let’s meet in the small hall at Dürer on 22 October for the launch of our album *Sad and in Love*!

The hearts of the audience will be won over by Kvaterka and Membrán, bands already well-versed in the subject.

Kvaterka: Danube-style chanson rock, coffee-house new wave. Kvaterka blends a synthesis of numerous genres into a cohesive concept. Their lyric-driven music has been heavily influenced by the 1980s Budapest underground scene and the work of the songwriting trio Cseh, Másik and Bereményi.


Membrán: The band members had been circling each other for years - their paths often crossing - until finally, last year, with a drummer heading south and a lead guitarist returning home, we came together under the name ‘Membrán’ in the melting pot at 30 Cserzy Mihály Street.
They play primarily in an alternative rock style, blending modern and classic indie elements. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are just as influential to them as Quimby, and who doesn’t listen to the Arctic Monkeys?

Their music brings together industrial sounds, monumental choral arrangements, martial rhythms and classical music, while their work repeatedly explores questions of power, propaganda, ideology and mass culture. 

Laibach was formed in 1980 in Trbovlje, Slovenia, and from the very beginning operated more as an artistic collective than a conventional band. Their music brings together industrial sounds, monumental choral arrangements, martial rhythms and classical music, while their work repeatedly explores questions of power, propaganda, ideology and mass culture. During the Yugoslav era, their provocative aesthetic led to them being banned in Slovenia, while albums such as Nova Akropola, Opus Dei, their reinterpretation of the Beatles’ Let It Be, Kapital, NATO, WAT and Volk, their reimagining of national anthems, established their international reputation. Their work deliberately appropriates and reinterprets existing cultural, political and musical elements, and in 1983 they coined and defined the term “retro-avant-garde.”

On May 1 this year, Laibach released their latest album, MUSICK, which simultaneously celebrates and critiques a contemporary culture increasingly shaped by AI, where the boundaries between reality and imitation are becoming increasingly blurred. Musically, the album also draws on contemporary pop, K-pop and ’90s Eurodance.

The legendary Scottish hard rock band NAZARETH will return to Europe in 2027 with their new tour, the “Right, Left & Centre Tour 2027”. Between March and April, the band will perform in selected European cities, presenting an impressive cross-section of their more than five-decade-long career.

Since their formation in 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, NAZARETH have secured a firm place in rock history. With worldwide hits such as “Love Hurts,” “Hair of the Dog,” “Dream On,” and “This Flight Tonight,” the band has shaped generations of rock fans and influenced numerous artists far beyond the boundaries of hard rock.

To this day, NAZARETH stand for powerful guitar riffs, unmistakable melodies, and an energetic stage presence. The “Right, Left & Centre Tour 2027” brings together timeless classics, fan favorites, and selected highlights from the band’s extensive catalog into an authentic live experience that reflects the remarkable history of one of Europe’s most enduring rock bands.

BLUSTER HALLOWEEN

One of Hungary's defining alternative acts, Bin-Jip is coming to our stage.

Over the past twelve years, Hungarian music fans have come to know him primarily as the frontman of the band Mörk, as Mr. Zen, or as a regular guest with Random Trip; however, this year Márk Zentaï has redefined himself with his first solo album and a new band.
This new solo repertoire ranges from soul to progressive rock, but ahead of Bin-Jip’s return concert, we’ll also get to witness the band trying out a completely new, free-form improvisational concept.
Dominik Kosztolánszki, alias Dom Beats, will also be performing; he is a leading figure on the Hungarian jazz and hip-hop scene.

BIN-JIP:      22.15–23.30
With their distinctive sound, Bin-Jip have been a key part of the Hungarian alternative music scene since 2010. Their debut album, *Enter*, won the award for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2011 Fonogram Awards, whilst their second studio album, *Heavy*, was released in December 2014; the album launch concert took place at MüPa in front of a full house.
In 2017, the line-up was revamped; the band performed as the support act for Thievery Corporation at Budapest Park, and have since been working on a new album, produced by Andrew J and Márton Szabó, with vocals by Viki Eszes.
The band’s guest artist is Sára Erdei.
