Panzerfaust strikes like an iron fist at Dürer Kert.
The Canadian black metal band tackles some of history’s darkest chapters not only in their musical themes but also in their lyrics, creating a uniquely caustic and complex sonic experience. The band most recently presented a special tetralogy titled The Suns of Perdition, which has now been fully unveiled to the world, meaning that on July 30, audiences at Dürer Kert will be able to experience the complete work live.
Panzerfaust is a Canadian black metal band that delivers a blistering fusion of raw aggression and atmospheric soundscapes. Formed in 2005, they draw on themes of war, mythology, and existential struggle, crafting an intense listening experience that captures both the ferocity and beauty of the genre. With intricate guitar work, relentless drumming, and haunting vocals, Panzerfaust has carved out a unique niche in the underground metal scene, earning acclaim for their ambitious compositions and thought-provoking lyrics.
The band conceived their tetralogy The Suns of Perdition in 2019, marking their most ambitious project to date. The first chapter, War, Horrid War, was released in 2019, while the fourth and final installment, To Shadow Zion, arrived in 2024, completing the series. The result is a dark and monumental black metal opus. Panzerfaust last visited Budapest as a supporting act, but this time they return with a headlining show on July 30 at Dürer Kert.
