One of the most exciting and wildest duos on the international alternative hip-hop scene, Joey Valence & Brae (JVB for short), will play their first-ever headline show in Hungary as part of the HYPERYOUTH WORLD TOUR. The duo will perform at Dürer Kert on May 29, coming straight from their ongoing world tour, which BBC Radio 1 host Jack Saunders described as “the best live show I’ve seen in years.”

Originating from Pennsylvania, Joey Valence & Brae have grown into a true global phenomenon over the past four years, becoming one of the most energetic live acts in contemporary alternative hip-hop. Their third studio album, HYPERYOUTH, released under RCA Records, elevates the duo’s sound to a new level: a sample-heavy, maximalist sonic explosion fusing 90s hip-hop aesthetics, drum’n’bass pulses, and electronic music.

The record features guest appearances from JPEGMAFIA, Rebecca Black, and TiaCorine, and every track was written and produced by Joey himself from start to finish in his bedroom in State College. HYPERYOUTH delivers a message that is mature yet youthful — “growing up without getting old” — while preserving the raw energy and humor of the duo’s early hits.

JVB has previously collaborated with artists such as Danny Brown, Z-Trip, and Ayesha Erotica on the NO HANDS album and its Deluxe edition. Their debut album, PUNK TACTICS, whose title track went gold and received major critical acclaim, immediately put the duo on the musical map. As part of a co-headline tour, Stoned Jesus - one of the finest bands on the European psychedelic rock scene - will return to Budapest on March 26, 2026. The other main act of the Spring Equinox Tour will be Wheel, legends of the Finnish prog scene, who have also proven themselves in Budapest before.


Stoned Jesus was founded by Igor Sydorenko in Kyiv in 2009. The Ukrainian trio’s second full-length album, *Seven Thunders Roar*, combined elements of doom, prog, and grunge in their own unmistakable way. Its centerpiece, the 13-minute “I’m the Mountain,” has now amassed 15 million views on YouTube.


Their next album, *The Harvest*, was described by critics as sounding like MASTODON, PORCUPINE TREE, and SOUNDGARDEN meeting on one record, and their charismatic live performances doubled - then tripled - their fanbase within just a few months.
 

Throughout their career they have played nearly 500 shows, toured across Europe and South America (twice), and shared festival stages with artists such as THE PRODIGY, GHOST, UNKLE, LIAM GALLAGHER, SLAYER, KORN, RAMMSTEIN, THE OFFSPRING, GOJIRA, BRING ME THE HORIZON, DREAM THEATER, and the legendary BLACK SABBATH. The trio was handpicked by the veterans of DEEP PURPLE as their direct support act for the band’s 2018 Kyiv concert, attended by 10,000 rock and metal fans.


While remaining an integral part of the European psychedelic rock scene - a scene they themselves helped popularize - the trio has never stopped pushing creative boundaries. Their newer songs draw inspiration from a wide range of artists, including SWANS, THE CURE, KING CRIMSON, and the DEFTONES.

Their latest record, 2024’s *Charismatic Leaders*, was created with exceptional meticulousness to meet the band’s ever-rising standards. “This is our heavy record,” says Lascelles. “For those who love metal and love Wheel, this is their album. We haven’t become caricatures of our previous releases, but we’ve definitely shifted toward a more metal direction, and we wanted to make a metal album.”


Wheel have toured globally with prog-metal icons such as Leprous, Vola, and Soen, and it is easy to imagine how the irresistible hook of “Disciple” or the explosive guitars of “Submission” will further elevate the excitement of their live shows.

Axel Rudi Pell and his band are one of the most consistent representatives of classic heavy metal and melodic hard rock. The band has made a name for itself on the German scene with its neoclassical guitar riffs, epic, vocal-centered songs, and fantasy-themed lyrics. Their music is based on the traditions of the '70s and '80s, with mid-tempo, anthemic compositions and a distinctive Blackmore-inspired guitar sound.
 
For decades, the band's stable lineup has consisted of guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, singer Johnny Gioeli (also known from Hardline), keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak, and drummer Bobby Rondinelli. The gentlemen began recording in the fall, and although there is no official release date or title for the album yet, the spring release and tour schedule are already known, and the title of the release will likely be Ghost Town.

The band Fiúk was formed in Budapest in 2019, and since then they have been working hard to show their audience something new every year. Their album Eső was released in 2021.
A year later, they released the EP "Ha neked nem", featuring one of their most popular songs, "Hogyan rontsuk el". They played at clubs and summer festivals across the country, and in 2024, they released their second album, "Szobák felett". The album release was followed by a nationwide club tour, which ended in Budapest at the Akvárium Nagyhall.
With new songs and constant momentum, they prepared for the next chapter: in 2025, they toured the country's coolest cities with the band Hűvös to show what kebab punk really means, ending with a fantastic concert at the Akvárium Klub. 
In the first half of 2026, the focus will be on the Matrjoska album, which will hopefully be available in its entirety at the Dürer Kert on their SEVENTH birthday.

Kiscsillag's most listened to album is their first album, released in 2006: no wonder, since it features hits such as Kockacukor, Hú de sötét and Állnak a férfiak, which have been staples at Kiscsillag's most important parties ever since. Twenty years of uninterrupted togetherness in any community or relationship is a big deal. In 20 years, the world has changed so much, and we ourselves have changed so much, that we involuntarily ask ourselves where we have come from and where we are going, how this thing we called Esti Kornél has shaped us, and how, even after 20 years, we are still trying to do what we started doing as high school students. We don't want to entertain, we want to lighten our own souls by pouring everything we feel and think about the world into our songs without compromise. Our attitude towards music hasn't changed one bit. And it is very flattering and touching that this whole thing means something not only to us, but also to you who listen to our songs and come to our concerts. That in this infinitely impersonal, virtual world, we have shared, tangible, liberatingly real moments from time to time.

We want to do our 20th anniversary tour in our own style, without any unnecessary frills. Among our favorite clubs in Budapest, we will first celebrate at Dürer Kert on May 2, which has been significant in many ways in the band's history. The GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen and his band Mammoth are coming to Hungary in 2026: they will perform live in Budapest on December 8 at Dürer Kert.

Fronting Mammoth, Wolfgang Van Halen has delivered one of the most exciting hard rock success stories of recent years. His music has a distinct identity, built on impressive instrumental prowess (drums, bass, keyboards, guitar) and instantly catchy melodies. In less than five years, Mammoth have amassed over 100 million streams, played sold-out shows around the world, and consistently appeared at the top of the most important charts.
Released in 2021, the debut album Mammoth WVH opened at No. 12 on the Billboard 200, while also topping three Billboard charts: Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. The track “Distance” became a No. 1 rock radio hit and earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Song. Hungarian audiences last caught them at Barba Negra, and on July 7 they’ll blow the roof off Dürer Kert with their first headline show in Budapest and a soon-to-be-released new album. Starbenders are the embodiment of the rock’n’roll dream for every dreamer living on this third rock from the sun. 

Singer-songwriter Kimi Shelter is like the love child Johnny Thunders and Joan Jett should have had, raised with an impeccable musical education at Blondie Elementary School, Def Leppard High, and Bowie College, before completing a PhD at Siouxsie Sioux University, majoring in “Fuck All Y’all.” Meanwhile, Aaron Lecesne brings crushing bass lines, vivid musicality, and lightning-strike stage energy to the band, wrapped in fashion-icon flair, while Hungarian-born Kriss Tokaji is the literal embodiment of a Guitar Adonis, whose talent is set to place him among today’s leading young guitar heroes.

The American band Of Mice & Men released their ninth studio album last year, a record that became both monumental and intimate at the same time. Naturally, the new album is followed by a tour, and on July 29 they will perform at Dürer Kert, joined by Vended, consisting musicians, who are children of Slipknot members.

“Life is hard. No matter who you are, you fight smaller and bigger battles every single day. We often feel that the uniqueness of our situation prevents us from connecting with others. How could anyone possibly know what it’s like to go through what I’m going through? And yet everyone - truly everyone - knows what it feels like to long for a miracle when everything seems hopeless. This is such a fundamental human experience that it connects us all. That’s exactly what Another Miracle is about.”

These are the thoughts Of Mice & Men shared in connection with their latest album released last year, during the creation of which they took full control into their own hands. Vocalist Aaron Pauley mixed the record, while Phil Manansala, Alan Ashby, and Tino Arteaga worked together on the material, resulting in the quartet’s most intimate work to date. Few hard rock albums manage to be intimate while delivering powerful rhythms and a monumental soundscape, but Another Miracle ticks all those boxes, becoming a truly memorable release. The band approaches depression, anxiety, loneliness, and existential dread with sober honesty, breaking through the darkness and emphasizing the importance of creativity as a vital component of mental health.

Speaking of Slipknot: at the Budapest concert, Of Mice & Men will be joined by Vended, formed in 2018. Opening the evening will be Wirefall! Wirefall is one of the most promising new wave nu metal bands in Poland. The band won Antyfest – the most important rock and metal competition in Poland – and was recognized by Tylko Rock magazine as one of the most promising bands of 2024.

After David Bowie's unexpected death in 2016, Hungarian musicians decided to commemorate one of pop culture's most influential artists with a concert featuring Bowie songs and details of his life's work on the A38 Ship. Although the concert was planned as a one-off event, both the musicians and the audience wanted a repeat performance.

So this year, the musician friends will take the stage for the 10th time. Over the years, songs performed with Bowie's fellow musicians (Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Brian Eno, Bob Dylan, Marc Bolan) have also been included in the program, which is why they chose the name Bowie & Friends.

At this birthday concert, the band will perform a selection of songs from their shows over the past ten years.
